Community Guidelines

Our communities help entrepreneurs in Nigeria and across Africa start, grow, and succeed. We keep them respectful, useful, and safe for everyone.

These rules apply to the Annual private WhatsApp group, the Pro Telegram group, the on-site community on originals.skillzonia.com, and comments under each course lesson.

Important: we may remove content, suspend access, or terminate any account that breaks these rules. For serious or repeated violations we may end access without refunds.

Overview

Skillzonia communities are for learning, questions, feedback, wins, and real support. Be kind. Keep it relevant to building real businesses. No noise. No scams.

Using our communities means you accept these guidelines, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

Golden rules

  1. Be respectful. No insults, harassment, or hate.
  2. Add value. Ask clear questions. Share useful answers.
  3. Stay on topic. Entrepreneurship and course help.
  4. No spam. No mass DMs. No contact scraping.
  5. Tell the truth. No fake proof or impersonation.
  6. Protect privacy. Get consent before sharing details or DMs.
  7. Use the right channel. Billing and account issues go to Subscription Management or Payments FAQ.
  8. Follow the law. No illegal offers, fraud, or schemes.

What is not allowed

  • Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or threats
  • Scams, phishing, impersonation, or investment schemes
  • Pornographic, violent, or harmful content
  • Selling or promoting outside allowed promo spaces
  • Paid DMs, unsolicited DMs, lead scraping, or adding members to groups without consent
  • False claims, doctored screenshots, or fake testimonials
  • Sharing paid course content, downloads, or internal resources
  • Asking for or sharing login credentials
  • Chargeback coaching or refund abuse
  • Ponzi, get rich quick, crypto pumps, or pyramid recruitment
  • Off topic political or religious debates that derail learning
  • Posting private information without consent
Account termination: serious or repeated violations can lead to a permanent ban across Skillzonia without refunds.

Channel rules

Annual private WhatsApp (invite only)

  • Purpose: focused support, accountability, and announcements.
  • Promo: only in the weekly Show and Sell thread if announced by an admin. No off thread promo.
  • DMs: do not DM members for sales without consent. Report unwanted DMs.
  • Media: share screenshots or short clips that help the discussion. Blur private data.

Pro Telegram group (invite only)

  • Purpose: active Q and A, quick help, and peer tips.
  • Links: add short context when you share a link so others know why it matters.
  • Threads: reply in thread if a topic is threaded. Keep it tidy for search later.

On site community (BuddyPress)

  • Profile: use a name your peers can recognize. Add a clear bio.
  • Spaces: post in the right group or topic so others can find it later.
  • External links: allowed with value and context. No link drops. No scraping members.

Founder Reviews and tokens

Safety and privacy

  • Payments: we only take payments via Paystack from our website. If someone asks you to pay elsewhere, do not pay. See Payments FAQ.
  • No sensitive data: do not post bank details, card numbers, BVN, NIN, or private IDs.
  • Beware of DMs: if a stranger DMs you claiming to be staff, verify by emailing [email protected].
  • Content ownership: do not copy or repost Skillzonia materials. See Terms.
  • AI assistant data: how we use chat logs is explained in our AI and Data Use Policy.

How to report issues

Report harassment, scams, impersonation, or rule breaks. Include screenshots, usernames, group name, and timestamps.

We aim to review community reports within 24 hours on weekdays.

Enforcement and penalties

We review context and history. Actions we may take:

1. Gentle nudge Off topic posts, minor etiquette issues Reminder or edit or move post
2. Warning Repeated off topic, light promo, low grade spam Written warning, temporary mute
3. Temporary suspension Unwanted DMs, aggressive promo, ignoring warnings 3 to 14 day suspension, loss of post rights
4. Removal from group Serious spam, impersonation, fake proof Removal from WhatsApp, Telegram, or BuddyPress
5. Account termination Harassment, threats, scams, fraud, sharing paid content, repeated violations Permanent ban across Skillzonia. No refunds.
Refunds: for serious or repeated violations we may terminate access without refunds, even if you are within a general refund window.

Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] within 7 days of the action. Include context and any evidence. We will review once. Our decision after review is final.
