Eligibility (read first)

You’re eligible if all are true:

  • It’s your first Pro payment (Monthly or Annual).
  • You’re within 7 calendar days of that payment.
  • The request is submitted by the account email owner.
  • The payment was processed through Paystack on Skillzonia.

We don’t require a reason, but sharing it helps us improve the experience for you and other learners.

How to request a refund

Follow these steps to submit your request within the 7-day window.

    Find your payment details

    Paystack reference (from your receipt) or the date & amount.

    Send us your request (choose one)

    • WhatsApp: tap from the site, include your account email, plan, payment date, reference, and a 1-line reason.
    • Contact form: via Contact Us with the same details.

    We’ll review within 24h (weekdays)

    • If approved, we trigger the refund via Paystack and confirm by email.
    • Pro access is removed at approval; your account returns to Free.

    Your bank posts the refund

    • Most banks show it in 1–10 business days (cards can take longer than transfers/USSD).
    • You’ll see the credit back to the original payment method.

Can’t find your Paystack reference? Say so in your message—your account email + date/amount is enough for us to locate it.

Payment methods (what to expect)

Here’s how refunds return based on how you paid:

  • Cards (Visa/Mastercard/Verve via Paystack): money returns to the same card.
  • Bank Transfer / USSD (via Paystack): money returns to the original bank account used.
  • If Paystack can’t return to the original method (rare): we’ll ask for verified bank details to complete the refund.

We never ask for OTPs or your full card PAN. If anyone does, it’s not us.

What isn’t refundable

  • Renewals (Monthly or Annual). Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal.
  • Subsequent upgrades/downgrades after your first Pro payment.
  • One-on-one coaching, events, or third-party purchases.
  • Transaction/FX fees your bank/issuer may charge.
  • Requests after 7 days from the first Pro payment.

After a refund is approved

  • Your Pro features (courses, templates, communities, reviews) are disabled immediately.
  • Your account switches back to Free (you keep Free access).
  • If you decide to return later, you can re-subscribe anytime on the Pricing page.

Chargebacks vs refunds

Please contact us first. Bank chargebacks take longer and may lock your account while the bank investigates. We resolve most refund requests within 24h on weekdays.

Can I “pause” and resume later instead of refunding?

You can cancel now and re-subscribe anytime. See Subscription Management.

I’m on Annual—can I get a partial refund mid-year?

Partial refunds aren’t available after the 7-day window on your first Pro payment. You can cancel to stop the next renewal.

My payment failed, but I was charged—what do I do?

Start with Checkout Help for quick fixes. If you still see a charge with no Pro access, message us with your account email and Paystack reference.

How long until the money shows up?

We approve within 24h on weekdays. Your bank/payment method usually posts it within 1–10 business days. Card issuers can take longer than bank transfers.
